THE STORY
The sun was beginning its slow descent, casting a golden glow over the market square. Merchants quieted their calls, and a curious stillness gathered as a woman stepped onto a low stone ledge near the fountain. She was striking—not merely in appearance, but in the calm authority that seemed to rest upon her. Her eyes were bright with conviction, and when she spoke, her voice carried with clarity and warmth.
“Brothers and sisters,” she began, lifting her hands slightly, “I bring you good news—news not of this world’s riches, but of a gift far greater, freely given to all who will receive it.”
A small crowd formed, some skeptical, others intrigued. Children hushed. Even the breeze seemed to pause.
“Have you ever wondered,” she continued, “what price could ever be enough to redeem a human soul? What could possibly restore what has been broken by sin?”
She let the question linger before answering, her voice soft but unwavering.
She was bold and courageous, full of the Holy Spirit.
“The answer is love—perfect love. For it is written: *‘For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.’* (John 3:16)”
A murmur rippled through the crowd. Some nodded; others leaned closer.
“The ransom price has already been paid,” she said, her voice rising with quiet passion. “Not with silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Jesus Christ.
As the Scripture says in1 Peter 1:18-21 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
A man in the crowd stepped forward. “Why would He do this—for us?”
She met his gaze gently. “Because we could not save ourselves. *‘For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.’* (Romans 3:23) But God, in His mercy, made a way. *‘But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.’* (Romans 5:8)”
Her words seemed to settle deeply into the hearts around her.
“This is the gospel—the good news,” she continued. “That through Jesus, we are offered redemption, forgiveness, and new life. *‘In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.’* (Ephesians 1:7)”
The sky deepened into hues of amber and rose. The crowd was no longer restless; they were listening.
“Do not think this gift is beyond your reach,” she said, her voice now tender. “It is for you—for all. *‘That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.’* (Romans 10:9)”
A silence followed, but it was no longer empty—it was full, alive with reflection and possibility.
The woman stepped down from the stone, her message delivered, but its echo lingered in the hearts of those who had heard. Some walked away thoughtful, others stayed behind, seeking to know more, and many gave their lives to God and were saved.
And though the sun slipped below the horizon, a different kind of light had begun to rise in the heart of the people who listened.

Born again means "Spiritual Rebirth." Being “born again” signifies a complete turning from a life centered on worldly desires to one aligned with God’s purpose. It involves letting go of the old self and embracing a new identity in Christ, guided by the Holy Spirit.
This rebirth is essential because the natural human condition is spiritually blind and cannot perceive God’s presence or truth without divine intervention.
Your courage shines like a light at sunset. Continue sharing God’s love with faith and boldness. Seeds of truth planted in hearts today will bear eternal fruit.
